Universal Images manufactured legions of rom-com fans content this week with the announcement that Zellweger will be reprising the title function of the awkward but lovable Londoner for “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” in 2025.
The motion picture will be the 3rd sequel to “Bridget Jones’ Diary,” the movie that obtained Zellweger her first Oscar nomination again in 2002.
